Much thanks to Shadowmaster for his updates and what not these past couple months.
Donation Subscriptions: Active subscriptions from this month have been processed. I realize that there are many that are behind. Make sure
you have ONE and only ONE recent ticket open about your subscription with "DP" in the subject and I will get to it as soon as I can
(this week).
Kicked the training program back into action after an error and you should see all the results from any battles/training you've had
or done.
Arena sim reported as down but appears to be working ok to me. Please report further problems.
Fixed a long standing but overlooked error with heat sinks being partially repaired.
5/11/2009
The tower creation, unit scrapping and AI programs are all back up and running. This means that all features with the
exception of war/raids should be working normally.
Extended existing faction wars by 1 nevyear to compensate for downtime.
9/28/2006
Credit Card Donations: Credit card donations and subscriptions have been reactivated and are available for use. I know a
few of you had been asking about this and we are sorry for the delay.
Made some progress with remote connection possibilities though not much closer to solving the mysterious database error. It does
appear (though it may just be luck) that changes we made helped make the crashes less frequent.
9/26/2006
The arenas and FFA will now function reliably except for when the game is offline.
A hopeful fix for the database connection issue failed to resolve it. We are continuing to do research and experiment with other
options.
The Quest should be reenabled and usable.
There will be some entries in the war log as we debug some war issues. War is still disabled and any attacks made are by admins.
9/25/2006
Added betting stats to the Arenas page so you can see your betting history.
The training program has been turned back on and any soldiers awaiting results are being worked through.
Downtime: Neveron has been experiencing a database connection error, seemingly every couple hours, that requires us to reboot.
We are desparately trying to figure out how and why this is happening, and the game will not be stable until we do. Until we anounce
otherwise, please anticipate downtimes, particularly late at night when we will not be able to manually reboot.
New Feature: There are 2 new stats on the Top 100 lists. They are Arena Bet Winnings and Arena Bet Win %. They show who has
profited the most on the arenas in the past Nevyear. The current data is pretty stale since there hasn't been much arena activity in
the past month, but with war being disabled hopefully this will turn around.
A huge thank you to Chaos Knights for being the first player to donate since we came back online. We appreciate your
confidence and support and your donation has been doubled!
We are aware that because of the week that we allowed the server to run while access was down that some empires are at massive negative
cash due to OMT, mobilization and the like. If you are under these circumstances please simply leave your empire as it is with all
the troops mobilized or your OMT in place and it will be taken care of in the next couple days.
There will be some 'hiccups' today while we figure out exactly what is going wrong with our database connections. Overall things are
up and running.
9/23/2006
Downtime daychanges, research and such WERE happening for the first week or so. You will see changes in your cash and research based on
that.
Arenas ARE up and running and should be working normally. Duel away!!
Wars and raiding are currently prohibited. Attempting to attack will result only in it looking like the target empire is surrendered.
Wars have all been extended to ensure that nothing expires while warring is prohibited. Their times will be reset when war is once
again allowed.
The tower creation and unit scrapping programs are currently not running, nor is training.

There were a few hours this morning when the zone conquering server had crashed, apparently due to an odd driver conflict. We are
investigating the problem to ensure better stability and will be checking this server more frequently.
Changed the days remaining on wars on the Wars page to show fractions to 1 decimal place. War durations are often fractions, but since it was
only showing a decimal it often looked like the first 'day' went faster than it should have.
Fixed a bug that was allowing DOWs in numerous improper situations for the past couple weeks.
Cleaned up some code with empires moving off of the Noob Island but not being recruited into a faction. All units are now mobilized,
towers are scrapped and stored vehicles are moved over properly. Units can be demobed immediately if you wish. Empires moving off of the
Noob Island, but not into a faction will remain in the Noob faction until they are level 3 or until they leave the faction.
Adjusted a bug in the raid protection time formula that was improperly giving excessively long protection times in some cases (well
over a Nevyear). Also reduced the protection time of empires that were over a Nevyear down to 1 Nevyear, which in most cases is still longer than
intended.

Hopefully rerigged the Quest to give salvage every time. It appears to be working properly but since there was no clear reason why it stopped
working it is hard to declare it definitively 'fixed.'
Added a Show Mults button to the Empire page list of claimed soldiers. This will show the 5 levels of multipliers (0 - 4) for those
soldiers.
Fixed a short lived error with claiming zones.
Corrected an exception to ensure that empires moving off of the Noob Island do not pull mechs out of the dueling stable.
Player produced mechs are NOT currently allowed to be resold to NASI because there are simply far too many loopholes with which to generate
abusive amounts of funds.
Fixed a bug with accepting factions that was not properly accounting for faction protection that was opted out of.
9/4/2006
Updated the Skilled and Elite soldier donation options to fit with the visual conformity of the new multiplier system.
Logins with All Emperor Privileges set can now view/accept/deny faction applications.
Fixed a problem with claiming remote zones on the Noob Island if you should have been allowed to.
Fixed a rare exception with moving units in the dueling simulator.
Fixed a problem with attack options not defaulting to the 'from enemy zone' option when a friendly unit is in enemy zone in the target zone.
Cleaned up some other Enemy Zone status issues and clarified information on the Enemy Zone link. Any time you have units in enemy zone and you
can not attack, simply click the Enemy Zone link from your Units pages and the units will be moved home for you.
Fixed a loophole that was allowing empires that were cease fired to engage enemy units in their zones while the enemy empires could not. This
created the appearance of Cease Fire protection not working properly. The enemy units are now sent home instead of engaged in battle.
Fixed a rare error with zone troops movement.
9/2/2006
Faction applications now expire after 72 real hours. They may be resubmitted after that time. If you have pending applications to get into
a faction you cn view them from the Factions section of the Alliances tab, and withdraw them from there as well.
Noob Faction Applications: Empires recruited into factions directly from Noob Island now carry significant benefits. Because they
are required to move off the island, you can accept an empire that is currently on the island at no charge, but you MUST provide them with a
city of some sort. The city (or cities) can be as small as you want, or as large as their current infrastructure. Since the applicants don't
have any real control over what they are given, they would be wise to work it out with faction leaders ahead of time. If their application is
accepted their infrastructure is burned, units are moved, towers are scrapped and uncommissioned vehicles moved. All in all this is a huge boost
to the ability of smaller empires to get ahead when moving off of the Noob Island.
Fixed a bug that was preventing empires who properly opted out of FWAR protection from offering merc contracts.
The Noob faction now allows empires to stay in until they reach level 3. Readded all level 0, 1 and 2 empires that are still on Noob
Island and were unfactioned to the ranks of the Noob Faction so that they can get better support and have repair bay access. If you didn't
want to be in the Noob Faction for whatever reason, please simply remove yourself.
