Much thanks to Shadowmaster for his updates and what not these past couple months.
Donation Subscriptions: Active subscriptions from this month have been processed. I realize that there are many that are behind. Make sure
you have ONE and only ONE recent ticket open about your subscription with "DP" in the subject and I will get to it as soon as I can
(this week).
Kicked the training program back into action after an error and you should see all the results from any battles/training you've had
or done.
Arena sim reported as down but appears to be working ok to me. Please report further problems.
Fixed a long standing but overlooked error with heat sinks being partially repaired.

Expanded the world map size a couple days ago which should fix some visual problems some players were having.
Mech designs should now automatically add themselves to your production list on the factories page if you view the Research page. The Wyvern
currently does not and will be added in the next couple days.
Added an autocorrection process to the research page to eliminate ghost research facilities that have been cropping up.

Fixed an exploit that was not properly putting units back in training if they are put into transit.

Tweaked most of the queries on the map for improved performance.
Map Patch: The map should be working for both IE 7 and IE6.x users with the newest security patches installed. It is not pretty, especially
in IE 7, but it is (almost) fully functioning with most of the same features we had all grown used to. I do not in any way intend for this to be
a permanent fix, but it will do for now until I can come up with a more elegant solution. I have a family emergency that just came up and I need
to head out of town for several days.
There are some significant changes that were made that people should be aware of:
-Enemy units are no longer marked with black crosshatching but instead with a !! symbol.
-Active mines currently show with simple black text and a "M2" or similar marking. There is no large orange circle anymore.
-Friendly and enemy cities only come in 5 sizes. Your cities may appear larger or smaller than before since they are being represented differently.
-The SOI button works and zones that are under the influence of an enemy empire show with some "SOI" text and a small block of color matching that
of the controlling empire. It's ugly but it gets the job done.
-The level 2+ maps are currently not supported.
-Buildable space is currently not shown. You can see buildable space by clicking the target zone and then clicking the "Terrain Info" link on the
data fram on the right.
-On the positive side several queries were reworked or removed which will speed up loading, and the rendering system is simple HTML so there is
no wasted time on a complex drawing method. A lot of the image renderers I've tried so far are horribly slow.
Thanks to everyone for being patient. The IE switch couldnt have come at a worse time for us with everything else we have had to deal with these
past couple months. You guys were great and extra kudos to those of you who went out of your way to help other players figure out the update
installation.

War Log: Added a new version of the War Log which loads faster and is (hopefully) more informative. It loads a full 10 Nevdays of history
and excludes all attacks related to the Noob faction.
Updated some anti-stalling code so people won't get a situation where their units keep unclaiming inadvertantly in battle.
Clicking the map coords on the movement page in battle will now recenter the map to your currently selected unit.
Map: Still working on the Map thing as my number one priority but it is very slow going. Please hang in there and it will hopefully be fixed
this coming week.

Fixed a bug with the OMT calc that was not properly accounting for certain mechs that were in the dueling stable. This will not change your
actual OMT, as that is calculated elsewhere, but empires with mechs in the dueling stable may see different math on the OMT calculator. I have
reset the calc times so that all empires can update their OMT stats immediately if they need to.
You can no longer dump ammunition from vehicles. Vehicles don't cause damage to surrounding units and dumping their ammo doesn't reduce the
chances of them being destroyed very much so mostly it was a way to sabotage battles.
Updated the FDOW process to thoroughly and cleanly check for war status and recent raids. Issues with FDOWs and reciprocal FDOWs resetting
war progress should be fully cleaned up. There has also beens some confusion about this. Starting an FDOW should not wipe your losses or gains
clean if you are currently in a war or are under raid protection. If you are almost surrendered and then your faction declares FWAR, you will
still be almost surrendered even if the empires you had been fighting no longer have DOWs with you.

Fixed a bug for DP repairing the VND-FC where it required you to have 10 DP but it actually only charged 3 DP. It correctly displays and
charges 3 DP now.
You can now demobilize towers individually if they become mobilized for SOI reasons.
Units that retreat out of battle should no longer show as "Under Fire."
Fixed a rare PK violation when storing unassigned people.
Fixed a bug that was cancelling wars later than it should have been.
World Map Functionality: We do not currently support IE 7.0 because they removed the drawing tools
that we use to render our world map image. Additionally, a recent Windows Update (KB922760) removes the same
tools in older versions of IE including IE 6.x and so if you install that update you will NOT be able to
see the Neveron World Map. You can still use the map, but without being able to see it it is kind of hard. You
can uninstall that update and you should be good to go. Patching the world map is one of our top priorities
but it isn't that simple so please stay tuned. Thanks to the empire Satan for the info on which update was
causing the problem.
Fixed a bug that was causing errors when ending a faction war near the end of the process, but because of the
order of operations the process was not allowed to be rerun without an error being generated. This should no longer
happen. I also manually ended two faction wars that had been stuck in this loop or errors. Those of you who
were getting errors viewing your faction pages should now be able to view them properly.
11/16/2006
Added a report error button to the error page to more easily allow people to report information about specific errors that they encounter. The
button will take you to open a help ticket and will include a unique error number that will make it easier for us to tell which specific error you
are talking about. If you use this method there is no need to include the page and error type in your help ticket, as we will easily be able to reference
the logs and see what you are talking about.

Restarted the skill degradation routine which had been disabled since the game went down in September.

War Changes Proposal: Please read the whole thing instead of skimming it and posting knee-jerk reactions. Can be viewed
HERE along with a poll that will end
on Sunday, November 19th.
Cancelled the FWAR between the Bad Boys and BLEEP factions due to extreme buggyness.
11/10/2006
Spent most of the day cleaning up multiple inconsistancies with the FDOW code that was not properly carrying over empire level information from
ongoing wars. This was resulting in initial and reciprocal FDOWS clearing the losses or gains that empires already at war had made. I am trying to
clean up all of the DOW/FDOW/Merc related issues with declaring wars and surrendering, so if you can give us any concrete information as to things
that are going wrong please open a help ticket.
11/9/2006
The instant mechs option on the Donate page now lists mechs in order of name for easier reference.
Changed some issues with newer empires on the Noob Island. If you lose all your zones and are still eligible to be on the Noob Island then
you will be able to claim a new zone for free and your units will automatically be moved to it.
11/8/2006
Disbanding lances will no longer incur a 50% chance of skill penalty.
Still working on getting test servers up and running. Plenty of problems with old equipment.
Voted.
11/7/2006
Increased the performance and accuracy of a query on the Parts pages that determines if the zone is at war or not.
Mech Maintenance Rates: Beginning next Monday all mechs with a DP cost of more than 20DP will have their maintenance rates increased by 5%
per week for 5 weeks. These mechs improperly have maintenance rates comparable to other mechs their size, which in no way takes into account their
higher technical nature and power. New mechs will be purcahsed off the market with the full 25% increase already implemented.
Fixed an error with transferring empires between logins.
Fixed a rare exception on the empire intel page.
Fixed a rare PK error on the Parts page.
Fixed a bug that was sometimes not properly giving certain DOW protections to low level empires.
Added mech upgrade kits to a new branch of the tech tree called "Unit Modification." Previously upgrade kits were just tacked on to related
research but now it is a research topic of its own which will allow it to be seen on the tech tree. The research hasn't increased at all, it was
simply added to some existing infrastructure to be more integrated with the way technology works.
Added the total number of units counted towards your unit cap to the Stats page if you have more than 5000 counted units. Players had not
been checking the Top 100 lists where their total counted units was shown, and thus unknowingly were over the unit cap and being charged large
amounts of maintenance and OMT.
Unit Cap: The unit cap was dropped to 13,000 units today. Infantry are no longer being counted towards this cap. Please remember that
if you are over the cap, any units over the cap will count DOUBLE towards both maintenance and OMT beginning with more expensive units.
Added routine updates that should correct for units that have a status of "Out of Service" when battle has ended in their zone. Also units
that are listed as "Under Fire" and "Repairing" should be updating properly.
Fixed a bug with purchasing mechs for existing unassigned skill 8/8 soldiers.
11/6/2006
Updated some data relating to the war login access that showed conflicting information on different pages. People should double check their login
permissions to ensure that the desired settings are selected.
11/4/2006
Spent most of the past couple days setting up test servers and dealing with licensing issues for new software that we are using.
Fixed a bug with creating new empires.
